The Willowdale Church family is sad to share the news of the passing of Thankamma Mathi. Our dear sister passed away on June 11, 2020. We extend our sympathies to her children, Swarna, Shirley, Sam, and Sujatha, as well as their families, during this difficult time of loss. Sister Thankamma was laid to rest on Tuesday, June 16. While COVID-19 protocols did not allow for a public funeral service, one of Thankamma’s daughters, Sujatha, shared this link to her personal online tribute to her mother (link no longer active). She would like to thank those who reached out with words of comfort during this difficult time.
