2020 Report
Year 2020 seemed like a promising year for the MG Ministry with plans in place to reach and serve those near and far.
The reality of a pandemic is that physical distancing, restricted travel and restricted gatherings must be adhered to in order to help in preserving life.
The MG Ministry continued in service by participating in on line outreach with the conference. These programs include on line MG virtual camp, MGTV, MG convention, on line adventurer virtual camp, Adventurer TV and Pathfinder prayer sessions. These are quite uplifting and encouraging programs that can be viewed on Youtube at Ontario Conference Master Guides, Ontario Conference Pathfinders and Ontario Conference Adventurers.
Willowdale MGs and MGTs also participated in Pathfinder and Adventurer Basic staff training and NAD Master Guide training sessions which were done on line.
MGs and MGTs continue to serve in the Pathfinder, Adventurer Ministries and other ministry areas of our local church.
Going forward the MG Ministry will seek and explore new and safe opportunities to serve and continue to minister to others.
Our pledge is to, “do what we can to help finish the work of the gospel in all the world.”
