Medical Mission to Downtown Toronto

The Ontario Health Ministries is seeking volunteers for its “Your Health our Passion” Medical Mission to downtown Toronto.

In preparation for the medical mission on Sunday, September 6, 2026, we are seeking your help for the following:

1. We are in need of at least three barbers and two hairdressers. Please send us names and their contact information by Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
2. We need new or very slightly used items, as follows:
   1. New only and in all sizes up to XXL:
      1. Men’s undergarments — boxers rather than briefs are preferable.
      2. Ladies’ and men’s socks
   2. New and very slightly used in all sizes:
      1. Sweatpants — for men are much more needed
      2. Hoodies — for men are much more needed
      3. Shirts
      4. Clothes
      5. Hats
      6. Gloves
      7. Scarfs
      8. Toiletries

4. Invite friends, co-workers, acquaintances, or family members residing in the GTA to avail of the free wellness services. Kindly share the attached flyer with them.

1. Please bring the items to the Ontario Conference office building, 1110 King Street E., Oshawa, ON L1H 1H8, between August 11 and 20, 2026. Please note that the work hours are Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am-5:30 pm, and the office building is closed on Fridays.
2. We kindly ask that no items be brought down to the venue on the day of the event, as clothes should be sorted beforehand.
