Help With Groceries

Dear Willowdale Church Family,

Greetings in name of our savior Christ Jesus. In this period of social isolation, we want to let you know that our Deacons have volunteered to cater to our members who are physically unable to go grocery shopping or do not have the financial means to purchase groceries.

In conversation with Harvest Food Bank we can deliver food boxes to those in need. To request a food box, please call the church office on Mondays or Tuesdays. The church office will collect the necessary information for delivery. Deliveries are targeted for Thursday or Friday of the same week; a deacon will contact you to schedule a time for delivery.

The food boxes include the following food items: beans, condiments, spread, canned soup, broth, rice/cereal/oil, pasta, non-dairy milk, fruits/vegetables, snacks, pancake mix, dried soup mix.

If you do not need a food box but would like help with grocery delivery to your home, you can make this request on Mondays and Tuesdays with the church office. A deacon will contact you, and delivery the groceries to your home. Upon delivery, or however mutually agreed, you will then reimburse the deacon for the grocery expenses.

Our church doors may be closed, but our hearts are open. While we will try to service all requests, please recognize deliveries outside a ten-kilometer radius of the church, may not be possible.

God Bless,

Deacons
