Here’s a message by Pastor Godsoe thanking the church for his farewell program last Sabbath,
On behalf of my family, I want to express profound appreciation for the kind send-off you have given us. Your spoken and written words of appreciation, generous gifts, kind prayers, and a farewell that was touching, hilarious, thoughtful, and very creative are deeply meaningful to us, and have left us feeling overwhelmed with the love of this wonderful congregation. We recognize and appreciate the significant time and effort that so many have given to allow us to feel special and valued. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for welcoming us as we walked through life with Willowdale for these past many years. You remain fixed in our hearts, and we know that the DeSilva’s will be in good hands here. May God continue to bless you as you all the more know Jesus and make Jesus known. With sincere gratitude, Pastor Darren Godsoe.
