The Adventist Ministries Convention is scheduled for March 2026, and they are organizing a Theme Song Contest in celebration of the event. The theme for the convention is “Disciples on Fire” (based on Matthew 28:17-20). Rules of the contest below.

Rules
- Eligibility
- Open to all Adventist members in the Ontario Conference.
- Participants may enter individually or as part of a group; however, only one prize will be awarded, regardless of the group’s size.
- Theme
- Song must be an original composition aligned with AMC’s theme, “Disciples on Fire.”
- The song should be catchy, moving, and have a Christ-centred message that reflects the Gospel Commission recorded in Matthew 28:18-20.
- Submission Guidelines
- Entrants may submit one original song only via the adventistontario.org website.
- The song must be 2-3 minutes in length.
- All entries must be submitted in MP3 format.
- Include lyrics as a PDF file with your submission.
- Send a cover letter with the composer’s contact information, which should consist of their name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and church membership.
- Deadline
- All entries must be received by November 17, 2025
- Judging Criteria
- Song entries will be judged based on creativity, thematic relevance, lyrical quality, musicality, and overall impact.
- Prize
- The winner/winning Church will receive three (3) entries to attend the convention (each can register to attend a maximum of four seminars) and a music trophy.
- Copyright
- Participants retain full rights to their original work but grant the Ontario Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church the right to use the song for promotional purposes. This use does not require permission or compensation to the composer(s) or any other copyright holders.
- Disqualification
- Any entry that does not comply with the contest rules, including plagiarism or inappropriate content, will be disqualified.
- Announcement of Winner
- The winner will be announced on December 31, 2025, through the Ontario Conference website and social media channels.
