Camp Meeting Theme: “Follow”
Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.
With hearts filled with gratitude and holy expectation, we warmly remind you of our sacred gathering—our first Regional Camp Meeting, uniting the Metro North Central and Metro South Central districts. This special convocation will take place on June 6th at the Catch the Fire Church facility, located at 272 Attwell Drive, Etobicoke, Ontario.
Beloved, this is not just another event; it is a divine appointment. It is a time set apart for praise and worship, where heaven draws near, and God’s people lift their voices in adoration. It is a time for fellowship, where hearts are united, burdens are lifted, and faith is strengthened. It is a time to hear the Word of the Lord, as God speaks through His servant, Jose Cortes Jr., Associate Director of the North American Division Ministerial Association. Come expecting a word that will challenge, revive, and transform your life.
But even more, this camp meeting is a spiritual call anchored in our theme— “Follow.”
To follow Christ is more than attendance—it is surrender. It is choosing His way over our own.
It is walking in obedience, even when the path is narrow. This gathering is a call to step away from life’s noise and draw closer to God. It is a call to be renewed in His presence and reminded of our identity as His people. In a world growing increasingly dark, God is calling His church to shine brighter—to be a light of hope, truth, and love. Your presence is not only for your blessing but also for your mission.
As we gather, we are strengthened not just to receive, but to go into our communities, our homes, and our workplaces as faithful witnesses for Christ. Friends, let us not forget: Jesus is coming soon. Every gathering of God’s people is a preparation for that glorious day when we shall meet Him in the clouds. This camp meeting is an opportunity to examine our hearts, deepen our commitment, and align our lives with eternity.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone from Willowdale who will be contributing their time and talents. Some of you will be involved in the Children’s Ministries program, Prayer, Sabbath School, Greeting, and Praise and Worship. Your dedication and commitment to the many behind-the-scenes acts of service truly embody the spirit of Christ and showcase the beauty of His church in action. Thank you for your service.
Please note that our local church will be closed on June 6th, as we gather collectively for this regional worship experience. I urge you to lay aside distractions. Rearrange your schedule. Bring your family and invite a friend. Come ready to follow. Come ready to worship. Come ready to be transformed. Because one day soon, the call to “follow” will become a call to “come up higher,” and on that day, only those who have truly followed Christ here will rejoice to follow Him there. Let us anticipate the opportunity to engage in collective worship as a unified community within the context of our faith in Jesus Christ.
Happy Sabbath!
