Long-time Willowdale member and former Ontario Conference Auditor Evans Morgan passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022, just three weeks short of his 96th birthday. The Willowdale Church family extends sincere condolences to Erene, Gail, Mark, and the whole family. The funeral service is scheduled for 11 am on Friday, March 18. It will be accessible via zoom.
Obituary
Evans was born in the beautiful island of St. Vincent to James and Catherine Morgan. Evans was elected to the first legislative council in St. Vincent in his twenties. He was the last surviving member of the Eight Army of Liberation political party. He attended Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation in 1953 as a delegate.
