Join ADRA Canada on July 31st at 5:00 PM (EDT), for a special presentation to commemorate the Beirut explosion of August 4, 2020. They’ll be talking with Elissa Naim and Kamila Lakkis at ADRA Lebanon about the disaster, ADRA’s response, and the continuing recovery a year later.
The explosion ripped through the port of Beirut, Lebanon, leaving 207 dead and more than 7,000 injured. An estimated 300,000 people were left homeless. ADRA provided immediate humanitarian response followed by support in the months after.
