In the interest of recognizing the diversity that resides within all our congregations, The Barbadian Adventist Community in Ontario would like to invite you and your congregation, to a special worship service on November 20 at 5:00 pm, celebrating the 55th independence anniversary of the nation of Barbados. The theme of the evening of worship is “ The Lord Has Been the People’s Guide”.
As of November 30th, Barbados will peacefully transition from a constitutional monarchy to a fully democratic republic. In these end times where nations strive against nations, we should celebrate peaceful transitions and pray for peace in the world. A delegation of Adventists of Barbadian background from across our province has organized an evening of worship to commemorate this milestone. At the service, we welcome His Excellency Gline Clarke High Commissioner of Barbados to Canada, and other dignitaries who will participate.
The worship service on November 20th will start at 5:00 pm. It will be live-streamed from the Ottawa Seventh-day Adventist Church YouTube Channel. The evening will conclude with games and interesting historical information on a Zoom-hosted social. No matter their nationality, everyone can take part and enjoy. We want to thank you in advance for inviting your congregation and any “Bajans” you may know in your community to attend our special worship service on November 20 at 5:00 pm: “ The Lord Has Been the People’s Guide”.
